Bring me back...

Bring me a basket full of sunshine,
Creamy buns and chocolate waffles,
Fairy tales and super heroes,
Comic books and crayon colors.
Bring me some mad laughter,
Loose scribbling and empty narration,
Long afternoons and noisy chatter,
Random games and aimless walks.
Bring me back those times of life,
When dripped in innocence,
Distanced from worries,
Living the dream,
Was all that mattered.
Bring me back the days that went by,
Bring to me, my childhood again.

  3. Hi Jessy,

Yes, indeed, everybody adores their childhood, when one didn't have to worry about complete world domination and becoming a billionaire. As we grow up, the lust and lure for money starts corrupting our innocence and our minds. Those who are able to resist these trappings lead a happy life whereas the rest are caught in Limbo.
    Loved this post. :)

  5. Very true! childhood days are unforgetable. It reminds me of the superb Ghazal, ye daulat bhi lelo, ye shohrath bhi lelo, bhale cheen lo mujhse meri jawani, magar mujhko lautado wo bachpan ka sawan, wo kagaz ki kashti, wo baarish ka paani.
