Summer Blues

Bright and golden,
With patches of yellowish orange;
Burning and melting,
Sweltering her way through.
Fiery and zealous,
Pouncing with utmost might;
Wearing and draining,
Vexing away the vigor;
Even lemons and melons
Fail to calm the fervor,
Awakening fond memories
Of raindrops sweet;
Here comes with all her grandeur,
The sultry blistering summer.
